In 1887, Baron Allios Gillaume Engine von Winckler platted Park Hill which is located in Northeast Denver! It is divided into three administrative neighborhoods: South Park Hill, North Park Hill and Northeast Park Hill.
Park Hill is a great residential neighborhood just three miles from the Central Business district. This neighborhood has been family-oriented since the first house was built in back in 1887 and has grown into one of the most culturally and economically diverse communities in Denver. In addition, Park Hill residents can enjoy the close proximities such as: Park Hill's convenient location to downtown and Cherry Creek coupled with beautiful brick homes has attracted many residents that want to live in the city. At the turn of the century, Park Hill really began to flourish. Today, the peaceful tree-lined streets in South Park Hill and North Park Hill have a beautiful architectural legacy of the early years. Bordered by City Park to the west, the big lots, mature landscaping and the great Tudor, Dutch Colonial, Craftsman and Denversquare homes of Park Hill give the streets both character and grace. Home in Northeast Park Hill were built some time later (mostly after World War II). Most of Northeast Park Hill has a number of mid-century homes, brick ranch homes, and Prairie houses. Park Hill is bordered by Colorado Boulevard, Colfax Avenue, Quebec Street, and 56th Avenue. The main zip code for the Park Hill area is 80207, but a small section of South Park Hill is 80220.
