Lakewood is near and dear to my heart as this is where I grew up.  Located in Jefferson County with an easy commute to downtown Denver, aquick access to the foothills and Rocky Mountains, Lakewood is an awesome community.  Today, it has a newly developed downtown district at Belmar Park and has wonderfully recongnized schools!

Approximately 60 percent of all Lakewood homes are single family detached or semi-detached homes with the remaining homes being low rise multi-family, condo, and townhome developments. With a heritage stretching back to Colorado's earliest Gold Rush days, Lakewood has grown to become Colorado's fourth-largest city, yet still retains a small-town flavor.
