High-speed train line to connect Stapleton to Union Station and Denver International Airport in 2016

As Denver International Airport wraps up construction on the adjacent Westin Hotel and common commuter station at the end of this year, construction on a high-speed train line, running from Union Station to DIA will commence the following year.

After two stops at 38th & Blake, and 40th & Colorado Blvd., there will be a stop at Central Park in Stapleton. Forest City, master developer of Stapleton, plans to develop 34 acres of office, multifamily, retail, and hotel space around the station.

Funded by Punch Bowl Social and Stapleton master developer Forest City, the tower and attached three-story building “will be gutted and redesigned...to house the restaurant, six bowling lanes, and other amenities such as Ping-Pong and private karaoke rooms.”
